School Capacity and Utilization Analysis

We work with school districts to determine accurate school capacities for each school based on a careful analysis of each room within a school building. We excel at working with district and school leaders to set utilization goals that reflect the district’s long-term planning priorities. We use factors such as class size requirements, special programming (e.g., special education), and type of building (e.g., whether modulars should be included) to tailor the utilization of each room within each school. We provide districts with clear outputs showing the capacities for each of their schools and whether their current utilization meets their goals. This enables districts to determine whether boundary changes, additional schools, or consolidations are needed. We can help districts create a capacity methodology and provide data files that enable them to efficiently maintain and update school capacities and calculate school utilization.
