Tyler Vick has always been passionate about human ecology, innovation, and problem-solving. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, Tyler applied these interests at the intersection of the natural, built, and human environments using geographic information systems (GIS).

Tyler Vick has always been passionate about human ecology, innovation, and problem-solving. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, Tyler applied these interests at the intersection of the natural, built, and human environments using geographic information systems (GIS). Throughout his extensive career at FLO, Tyler has leveraged these skills to assist clients with GIS program development, long-range facility planning, supporting public entities with redistricting, siting new facilities and storefronts, and empowering non-profits to leverage GIS to further their mission. Tyler's broad range of experience allows him to work across the full spectrum of FLO service offerings and he enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

A favorite project and why?

Supporting NOAA for the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill response. This was a rapidly evolving response project that required us to collaborate with multiple private and public agencies, hire and train additional staff, and develop internal data management and analytics review processes.
